Please find our frequently asked questions below. If there is anything we haven’t covered, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We offer lots of different type of badges. The type of badge that you require depends on your garment and application. We have written an extensive blog covering various badge types and their application; Please click here for more details.

Apart from the thickness and detail, many things set these badges apart please click here to see all the differences and comparisons.

You can choose from the following backings

  1. Heat seal backing – for garments like T-shirts, Sweatshirts, Hoodies, Teamwear etc. (but not suitable for garments that are water resistant)
  2. Non-woven badges – for applique badges and stand-alone badges
  3. Peel off – Stick on badges – these badges come in a sticker form with a pressure-sensitive adhesive they are not permanent and are typically used for trade shows as they are super easy to apply.

The first thing to note before we move forward on the colours is that when you approve colours on your computer screen, they look different across different devices. We strongly recommend a retina display or at least a 2K auto 4K display.

If this sounds complicated the easiest thing to do is to bring up the link on a mobile device- any Samsung phone or Apple phone which is less than three years old would have a fabulous display where you can see the colours correctly.

When you provide us with a detailed image of your logo, we choose the nearest matching colours to your artwork. However, if you have specific colours  here are the options for you:

  1. The best way to choose colours for your trades is to check the online shade cards.
  2. We can also match Madeira colours. If you want us to use the actual madeira threads themselves,  it can add between 3 and 7 days to the order.
  3. Pantone colours. If you have Pantone colours of your logo then it helps us match threads more accurately.

The colour that you see on the screen is dependent on the resolution of your screen. If you have a full HD screen or even better if you have a 4k or a retina screen the colours are represented more accurately.

There are a lot of ways to attach the badges. You can heat seal them on or you can hand stitch them on. When it comes to professional kids teamwear most of the badges are appliquéd on by using an embroidery machine.

For professional heat sealed badges, we highly recommend a professional heat press that heats from the bottom.

The glue that we use on our badges is excellent so you can also iron them on. Please follow our video instructions very carefully. It is always better to test one badge first and make sure everything is ok before proceeding with the final quantity.

An embroidered badge is produced onto a base cloth by a stitching process. The result is textured and raised design effect. Woven badges are two prominent sets of threads that are interlaced to form a surface that illustrates your design. They’re a useful option to achieve photorealism in your designs.
